The double Olympic champion ended with 287.4 points, after jumps of 130.5m and 131m, and finished ahead of a trio of Germans to secure his 20th World Cup win.
Andreas Wellinger (285.8) and Richard Freitag (284.2) came second and third, respectively, with compatriot Markus Eisenbichler just missing out on a podium.
It was Wellinger's second podium result in Poland, while Freitag ended a two-year wait for a spot inside the top three.

Norway's Daniel-Andre Tande was fourth after the opening round but slipped to seventh with a poor second jump.
"I can't believe it, it's like a dream," said Stoch.
"Of course I'm satisfied with what I achieved today, especially my second jump was really good.
"The level of the competition was very high and even though the spectators might not have seen it, the conditions were difficult.

"The wind was changing a lot. After the first round I didn't think about the podium anymore, I was just focusing on my jump.
"I want to thank all the fans here and in front of the TV, it was great."
Stoch, sitting on 933 points, extends his overall World Cup lead with Daniel-Andre Tande second on 803, and Domen Prevc a further 23 back in third.
