Takanashi continues to rack up the wins

Sara Takanashi held off the challenge of home favourite Daniela Iraschko-Stolz to earn her ninth World Cup victory in a row in Hinzenbach.

The win, achieved with jumps of 93.5m and 93m for a total of 257.2 points, sees the Japanese jumper overtake Polish ski jumping legend Adam Malysz in the all time best list of the most World Cup victories and follows Matti Nykanen and Gregor Schlierenzauer as third.
Defending overall World Cup winner Iraschko-Stolz finished second for the fifth time this season with 238.9 points while Maren Lundby was third with 238.5 points.
Takanashi said: "I can feel that I improve with every jump a little bit. I want to win the overall World Cup."
She now leads the World Cup standings by 351 points from Iraschko-Stolz with eight rounds remaining.
