Ding trailed 3-1 early on, but won five of the next six frames to progress to the last four on Friday.
He made breaks of 93, 69, 55 and 125 with Bingham appearing jaded after his run to the final of the International Championship in China on Sunday where he lost 10-7 to John Higgins.
He started with a 53, 94 and 61, but could not maintain his levels.
2015 world champion Bingham had earlier ended Neil Robertson's defence of the trophy at the first hurdle with a 4-2 win in their Group 1 opener.
World number two Bingham has been one of snooker's form players this season so far, and continued his impressive level of consistency with breaks of 94, 61, 132 and 59 enough to secure him a place in the final.
Robertson's 53 in the second frame was enough to restore parity at 1-1, but it turned out to be his rather underwhelming highest break of the match.
It was a far cry from his performance a year ago when he completed a 10-5 win over Northern Irishman Mark Allen in the final.
China's leading player Ding completed a 4-2 success against fellow former World Championship finalist Ali Carter.
Ding enjoyed runs of 77 and 75 as he recovered from trailing 2-1 to complete a 4-2 success.

World champion and world number one Mark Selby starts on Wednesday in a group that also includes Liang Wenbo, Allen and Joe Perry.
Group 4 is played out on Thursday, and involves Shaun Murphy, John Higgins, Judd Trump and Anthony McGill.
The winner of the tournament on Saturday night will earn a cheque for £100,000.
