John Higgins to meet Stuart Bingham in China Championship final

Bingham edged a close match against Shaun Murphy, 9-8, in which the pair compiled some impressive breaks - Murphy's 144 in the 13th frame is the highest of the event so far, while Bingham managed a 141.

Higgins had an easier time of it, beating Mark Allen 9-3. Despite the Scot's early breaks of 131 and 123, Allen managed to keep with him for the first few frames, but the four-time world champion powered through.

Allen had pulled off a surprise result in the quarter-finals, vanquishing world number one Mark Selby in a final-frame 6-5 victory.
