Olympic champion Anderson clinched top spot on the women's podium with a score of 85.78 points, to edge out Miyabi Onitsuka of Japan and Zoi Sadowski Synnott of New Zealand into second and third respectively.
Onitsuka scored 79.96 on her first run to secure second, despite a poor second run, while Sadowski Synnott scored 74.76 in her second run to take the bottom step of the podium.
Victory ensured Anderson secured the three-peat at the Winter Games, having won gold in 2013 and 2015, and she did it in style with a new trick, completing a cab double 900 on the last jump with the win already in the bag.
"I've wanted to do that for a while, you've only got one life so you've got to go for it," she said.
"I just learned it a couple of months ago, and I haven't done it in a contest, and it felt really good."
Norway's Kleveland won gold in the men's competition, his score of 85.58 on the first run enough to secure a career-first win on the slopestyle World Cup circuit.
Darcy Sharpe of Canada took second with a best score of 85.33 points, with New Zealand's Carlos Garcia Knight taking bronze on 84.58.
"I was pretty much just going all in," said Kleveland.
"I haven't really been feeling it in practice so I was happy to get the first run down."
