Just a day after being crowned World champion in the parallel slalom, the Austrian ensured he would be flying out of Spain with plenty more silverware to declare as he beat compatriot Benjamin Karl - who finished third in 2015 - to the line.
The bronze medal was taken by Swiss boarder Nevin Galmarini, who defeated Bulgaria's Radoslav Yankov in the small final.
The 2015 champion, Andrey Sobolov of Russia, failed to make it out of the qualification stages.
In the women's event, Czech boarder Ester Ledecka took gold to secure her second ever World title, having won the parallel slalom two years ago.
Just a day after winning parallel slalom silver in Sierra Nevada, Ledecka was first over the line in the big final, with Switzerland's Patrizia Kummer taking second place.
In the small final, Russia's Ekaterina Tudegesheva edged out Ramona Theresia Hofmeister in the race for the bronze medal.
