Pierre Vaultier won his second successive snowboard cross World Cup event to extend his lead at the top of the overall standings, in Veysonnaz.
The defending Olympic and World Champion won the big final in Switzerland ahead of America's Alex Deibold and Australia's Alex Pullin.
Out of the medals in fourth was Italy's Omar Visintin, meaning he slipped further behind Vaultier in the overall standings, the Frenchman now leading by 530 points with five rounds and 5000 points still remaining in the season.
In the women's event Charlotte Bankes got her first win of the season ahead of series leader Eva Samkova.
Bankes made it a double success for France, while Czech rider Samkova still extended her overall World Cup lead despite missing out on a third win of the season.
Michela Moioli took the last spot on the podium, with the Italian scoring 600 World Cup points and moving ahead of Australia's Belle Brockhoff into second in the overall standings.
The 21-year-old is now 430 points ahead of Brockhoff, but still 680 behind Samkova, who has finished first or second in each of the last three rounds.
