The 25-year-old Austrian snowboarder has already claimed silver and bronze in the discipline at the X Games this year, as well as gold in the SlopeStyle and five World Cup wins.
But after beating out Finland's Enni Rukajarvi and Silje Norendal of Norway, she could add the World Championship crown to that list – having been beaten into silver two years ago in Kreischberg.
Gasser clinched her first world title with a Double Cork 1080 in her final attempt at the jump, earning 100 points for her third trick to notch up a score of 189.50, 24.25 clear of Rukajarvi.

"I've known I've got the tricks to win here, but you have to bring them on the day," she said, after winning Austria's fourth gold of the championships.
"It's unbelievable; I do not think this jump had been done by a woman before me. My season has been so good so far, but the others will certainly work hard in the summer."
