JEKOVA AND BROCHU VICTORIOUS IN SWITZERLAND

Bulgaria's Alexandra Jekova picked up her first snowboard cross World Cup title of the season in Veysonnaz in Switzerland.

Jekova, who has previously enjoyed success in Switzerland, in Arosa back in 2011, edged out Belle Brockhoff and Eva Samkova in the big final.

Meanwhile Canada's Baptiste Brochu won his first ever World Cup event in the men's event in Switzerland.

He finished ahead of overall leader Pierre Vaultier of France, and Austria's Alessandro Haemmerle in third.
