Christie crashed out at the quarter-final stage of the weekend's first 500m race on Saturday but bounced back in style to win Sunday's final in a British record time of 42.565.
Second went to home favourite Jamie Macdonald who finished narrowly ahead of Yara van Kerkhof of the Netherlands. Hungary's Shaolin Sandor Liu won the men's 500m with a dominant showing to hold of Russia's Semen Elistratov and Dutch skater Sjinkie Knegt.
There was plenty to cheer for Korea as Minjeong Choi and Suk Hee Shim recorded a one-two in the ladies 1000m event.
A photo finish review was required to determine the second, third and fourth place finishes, as all three skaters were separated by 16 one-thousands of a second, but the final medal position went the way of Suzanne Schulting of the Netherlands ahead of Canada's Kim Boutin.
On the men's side Charle Cournoyer and Samuel Girard made it a one-two finish in the 1000m with Hungary's Shaoang Liu third.
And finally, there was a new world record in the ladies 3000m relay as the Korean team posted a time of 4:05.350 ahead of the Netherlands and Hungary with Hungary taking the win in the men's 5000m relay.
