Jonathan Rea strengthened his grip on the World Superbikes title with a comfortable win in Race 1 in Portugal.
Rea qualified on pole and rarely looked in trouble as he charged to his 10th win in 19 races.
Chaz Davies finished second and Marco Melandri pipped Leon Camier on the line to take the final spot on the podium.
The world title is all-but secured for Rea, particularly with Tom Sykes ruled out of action for the weekend following his nasty crash in Saturday morning practice.
There’s a maximum haul of 150 points remaining this season, while Rea leads by 95.
