Leon Haslam scoops hat-trick of wins, while last-lap crash costs Laverty place in BSB Showdown

Haslam came out on top once again in the final race, a safety car-disrupted affair thanks to Jake Dixon's major crash.

Jason O'Halloran led and looked set to win, but ended up retiring with a technical problem, while James Ellison was also forced to pull in.

That left Haslam free and clear to claim a third win, and a three-point lead over Shane Byrne ahead of the deciding meeting at Donington next weekend.

Luke Mossey was second, securing a place in the Showdown - and justifying his decision to take part despite having been up all night as his partner gave birth to his first child.

Michael Laverty finished fourth, yet another disappointment for the weekend. Earlier in the day Laverty had suffered a disaster, the rider's crash on the final lap of race two at Oulton Park eventually costing him a place in the championship-deciding Showdown.
