Northern Ireland’s Jonathan Rea, who has won the previous two championships, will aim to triumph once again after blowing the field away last year, claiming the title by over 50 points.
There are plenty of other Brits to watch out for, including 2013 British Superbike champion Alex Lowes, 2011 World Supersport champion Chaz Davies and MV Agusta’s Leon Camier.
Eurosport’s studio coverage will be presented by Matt Roberts with analysis from 2014 World Superbike champion Sylvain Guintoli and British Superbikes legend James Haydon.
Former World Superbike rider James Whitham will provide analysis in the commentary box out in Australia alongside Eurosport’s new lead commentator, Greg Haines.
Eurosport will broadcast exclusive LIVE coverage from every round of the 2017 championship.
