Kawasaki's Tom Sykes secured second place in the Superbike World Championship after team-mate and new world champion Jonathan Rea let him pass on the final lap of race two in Qatar.

Rea had already wrapped up the title on Saturday when finishing second behind Chaz Davies in the opening race of the weekend on Saturday evening.
The Welshman completed a weekend double with a sixth consecutive victory, but Rea's move to allow Sykes into second denied Davies the runner-up spot as the season came to a close in the desert.
Rea ran off the track early on as Davies continued his weekend of dominance, leading Sykes while the Northern Irishman rejoined the race towards the rear of the field.

Rea was given the opportunity to get back into the race when an oil spillage on the track forced out the red flags and, upon the restart, the world champion raced through the field to put the pressure on Davies.
However, on the final lap he allowed Sykes to move ahead of him to ensure a series one-two finish for Kawasaki.
Sylvain Guintoli came home fourth with Leon Haslam and Jordi Torres completing the top six.
Nicky Hayden, Javier Fores, Raffaele De Rosa and Alex Lowes rounded out the top 10.
