Murray pulls out

Murray was due to take on Noam Okun in the first singles match, but had failed to recover from a ricked neck suffered during his five-set doubles defeat on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old Scot had got Britain back into contention on Friday by recovering from two sets down to beat Andy Ram after Alex Bogdanovic had earlier lost in straight sets against Okun.

Jamie Delgado is expected to replace Murray against Okun with Bogdanovic facing Ram as originally intended.

Defeat for Britain in the tie would mean a relegation play-off in Euro-Africa Zone Group One against Ukraine in Kiev in September.
