Heather Watson gave Great Britain the ideal start to a Fed Cup tie for the second day in a row as she brushed aside Latvia's Diana Marcinkevic in Tallinn.

Britain's Johanna Konta reacts after a point against Serena Williams of the US during their women's singles quarter-final match on day ten of the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne on January 25, 2017.

Watson lost only two games in her win over Ines Murta of Portugal on Wednesday to put Britain on the way to a 3-0 victory in Euro/Africa Zone Group I.
And Watson routed Marcinkevic 6-3 6-0 in a little over an hour on Thursday morning in Britain's second encounter in Pool C, which they will be looking to top in a bid to reach a play-off for a place in the World Group II.
British number one Johanna Konta sealed victory over the Latvians to put them in pole position ahead of Friday's clash with Turkey by seeing off world number 35 Jelena Ostapenko 6-2 6-3 later on Thursday morning.
"I thought I played better than yesterday and I had a tougher opponent as well," Watson said in an interview with British Tennis posted on Twitter.
"I moved better and struck the ball more cleanly, all round I thought I played well, was positive and aggressive ."
Watson, the British number two, believes squad unity has been the key to a successful start under new captain Anne Keothavong.
"It is really fun. Last night we played 'heads up', which is one of my favourite games," Watson added.
"There is a lot of banter flying about so I am enjoying it."
