French Open, Day Two Order of play: TV details, match of the day, potential upsets and more

Heavy rain in Paris prevented any play on the second morning of the French Open at Roland Garros, but tennis eventually got under way early in the afternoon.

DUE TO WEATHER SITUATION THE ORDER OF PLAY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Weather-permitting, Andy Murray will get his campaign under way, while Kei Nishikori and Heather Watson will pick up their interrupted games after rain cancelled play during their first-round matches on Sunday.
Defending champion Stan Wawrinka eventuall got his tournament started shortly after lunch, coming up against Lukas Rosol - the man who famously beat Rafa Nadal at Wimbledon in 2012. They're first up on Court Philippe Chatrier.
Women's second seed Agnieska Radwanska also gets her tournament going, coming up against Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia. They follow the conclusion of Kei Nishikori v Simone Bolelli on Philippe Chatrier.

After Radwanska, Andy Murray takes on Czech veteran Radek Stepanek, who is 37 and turned pro an incredible 20 years ago.
On Court Suzanne Lenglen, Spain's fourth seed Garbine Muguruza is first up against Anna Karolina Schmiedlova - a match postponed from yesterday - after which local favourite Gilles Simon, seeded 16th, plays Brazil's Rogerio Dutra Silva. Another much-fancied Frenchman, ninth seed Richard Gasquet, follows that game, playing another Brazilian in Thomaz Bellucci.
Finally, there are two superb matches to pick out on Court 2: Milos Raonic, perhaps the brightest of tennis's young stars, faces Janko Tipsarevic, the Serb who is a former top 10 player but who's been in and out of tennis for a couple of years with injuries. The conclusion of Jack Sock v Robin Haase follows that one, after which it's women's second favourite Simona Halep taking on Japan's Nao Hibino. The Romanian has had an awful run of form in the last year or so - she's only seeded sixth - but won the huge event at WTA Madrid a few weeks ago to demonstrate that she still knows how to play.

MATCH OF THE DAY

Only one pick here: Andy Murray v Radek Stepanek. When the draw was made the Murray camp breathed a sigh of relief as they discovered that the Scot had "only" drawn a qualifier. But when that qualifier turned out to be former top 10 player Stepanek, the mood will no doubt have changed quickly. He's now ranked 128th in the world, but at the age of 37 that's actually some going. It's 20 years since he turned pro, and 10 since he was in the world's top 10, but has been as far as the fourth round at Roland Garros, loves the big occasion (he's a double Davis Cup winner) and will be razor sharp having battled his way to the start line here. This is as slippery as banana skins get.

POTENTIAL UPSET OF THE DAY

While Murray has a tough match, he does at least come into the French Open in fine form. Defending champion Stan Wawrinka can't say the same, having struggled since lifting this title 12 months ago. A victory in a minor tournament in Geneva at the weekend will have boosted his confidence, and the Swiss played some utterly outstanding tennis on his way to glory. But playing deep into last week will also have sapped his energy somewhat, and the fact that he's playing a man with a history of big upsets - Lukas Rosol, who beat Rada Nadal at Wimbledon in 2012 - means that this one will be a fascinating clash.

British number one Andy Murray is the big story of the day with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal and Serena Williams not getting going until Tuesday. But he's not the only Brit in action, with Kyle Edmund - the British men's number three and world number 82 - taking on Georgia's world number 104 Nikoloz Basilashvili. They're third up on Court 6.
Women's number two Heather Watson is in action again finishing offer her match against Nicole Gibbs of the USA - they're second up on Court 3 with Gibbs leading 2-1 in the final set - and Naomi Broady has a tough game against Coco Vandeweghe, third up on Court 4.
