Andy Murray's French Open has already been a hair-raising ride and things are unlikely to get much simpler on Friday as Ivo Karlovic trains his mighty serve on the world number two.

Murray and Karlovic are second up on Court Suzanne-Lenglen, and are followed by women's second seed Agnieska Radwanska against Czech 30th seed Barbora Strycova.
Also in action are Simona Haelp against Naomi Osaka and Garbine Muguruza versus Yanina Wickmayer - first up on Suzanne-Lenglen and Philippe Chatrier respectively - while Nick Kyrgios has an eye-catching match against home favourite and ninth seed Richard Gasquet, third up on Philippe Chatrier.
Karlovic, 37, may be the oldest man to reach the third round of a grand slam for 25 years, but his thunderbolt delivery is still a match for anyone, even one of the game's great returners, the Croat insists.
"Andy is a great returner but I believe in my serve and when it's on there is no one who can return it," 27th seed Karlovic, the all-time ace leader on the ATP Tour with 10,696 and counting, told Reuters on Thursday.
"I've only lost my serve twice so far here so I'll focus on that and try to take my chances when they come."

Highlights: Karlovic edges classic 12-10 in decider

Karlovic won a fifth-set decider 12-10 against Australian Jordan Thompson on Wednesday, a match that lasted more than four hours, and he has taken heart from fellow 37-year-old Radek Stepanek's epic struggle against Murray in round one.
"Radek played a great match and mixed it up really well," Karlovic said. "I have a similar kind of game too so I was making notes and I will try to use those on Friday."

MATCH OF THE DAY

Nick Kyrgios against Richard Gasquet has all the makings of a grand slam classic. They're two of the most flamboyant and exciting players to watch, but throw in the home crowd angle for Gasquet and the fact that tennis's pantomime villain Kyrgios has already disgraced himself this week and it could be a firecracker of a match. We can't wait.

POTENTIAL UPSET OF THE DAY

Garbine Muguruza and Simona Halep were two of the pre-tournament favourites, but both have already been pushed very hard this week - Muguruza in a three-set opener, Halep in her second round match on Wednesday. Spain's Muguruza - a Wimbledon finalist last year - faces a very tricky campaigner in Belgium's Yani Wickmayer, who is out of the top 50 but who is a former grand slam semi-finalist and on her day is a match for almost anyone. Meanwhile Haelp's opponent Naomi Osaka isn't even in the top 100, but has looked highly impressive and has dispatched two much higher-ranked players already.

BRITWATCH

Andy Murray is the main interest for British fans, but there's also Naomi Broady in doubles actions, playing alongside Louisa Chirico of the USA against Vitalia Diatchenko and Galina Voskoboeva. That is second up on Court 16, and you can watch it on Eurosport Player.
