Nick Kyrgios has fired back at Australian pundit Matthew Johns over his ‘disgraceful behaviour’ at the Shanghai Masters.

Johns took aim at Kyrgios as he walked off court after losing the first set to American Steve Johnson at the Shanghai Masters earlier this week.
“It’s embarrassing behaviour. It’s offensive – the deliberate lack of effort from this individual. What I was sick of about a month ago when he did an interview, people were saying “it’s so refreshing to hear his honesty saying that he’s not really into tennis”.
“I hate that. That is bulls**t. This bloke…it’s just disgraceful behaviour. People turn up and pay good money, and he tells supporters courtside that if he loses the first set he’s going to walk off, and then he goes and does it.
“And then he goes onto Twitter to apologise and say he’s got a tummy bug. Please!”

Kyrgios was subsequently fined £23,500 for his behaviour, and he hit back at Johns with a sledge that referenced the former NFL player’s involvement in a group sex scandal 15 years ago.
John’s admitted that he was one of a group of Cronulla players to take part in group sex with a woman in a hotel, but attempted to play down the situation during an interview with A Current Affair.
“I was unaware that other people were coming into the room (and) at the point that they did, I stepped away from it,” he said.
“After I declined I stepped out of the room but I stepped back in to make sure that everything was OK and at no time was she under any distress.”
Johns was never charged by police.
