ORDER OF PLAY

Arthur Ashe Stadium - Play begins at 5pm UK time (6pm CET, 12pm New York time)
Martina Hingis & Sania Mirza v Casey Dellacqua & Yaroslava Shvedova
[Not before 9pm] Novak Djokovic v Roger Federer

MATCH OF THE DAY

Roger Federer is going for his sixth US Open and 18th Grand Slam, while Novak Djokovic goes for only a second title in New York - and his 10th overall. It's all set for one of the most thrilling men's finals in Grand Slam history, with Federer surely now pushing his age - 34 - right to the edge.
Will he ever have a better chance than this to add to his Major tally, over three years since his last? Probably not, given the purple patch of form he has been in this summer, having won 28 consecutive sets of tennis.
But if anyone will want to see him lose, it's Djokovic. The two have a very frosty personal relationship, and would love to deny each other a title almost as much as they'd be delighted to add to their own tallies.
