FISU present at 80th AIPS Congress

SEOUL/PYEONGCHANG – From 9 to 13 May, AIPS, International Sports Press Association, holds its 80th General Congress in Korea. The meetings are partially held in Seoul and in 2018 Winter Olympics host city Pyeongchang.

FISU was represented by its Press Officer Christian Pierre who reported on the activities FISU deployed since the previous congress in 2016. From the 33 World University Championships in 26 countries in 2016, to pointing out the International Day of University Sport, the World University League while ending with accomplishments of the 2017 Winter Universiade.

Christian Pierre then passed the floor to Shih-Ming You, the Deputy CEO of the 2017 Summer Universiade. Mr Shih-Ming gave an overview of the media preparations of the upcoming games in Taipei City this August. Journalists still can register for accreditation until 19 June.
