WTCC Muller Month: no regrets
Yvan Muller insisted his decision to retire from full-time driving was the right one following his final appearance in the FIA World Touring Car Championship in Qatar last week.
Muller bowed out from the WTCC as the category’s most successful driver during an emotional season finale at the Losail International Circuit.
“I have no regrets about my decision,” said the four-time world champion, pictured with François Ribeiro, Head of Eurosport Events, the WTCC promoter. “I have been lucky enough to choose when I stopped and I’m going to enjoy my first winter off in decades. I will of course look after my team and my young drivers. I will keep going to coach them but the time I was spending as a driver I will be spending with my family and to see my children grow up.”
