Who will be the breakout star of 2018?

The Eurosport UK team name the athletes they expect to become household names in 2018.
Gary Taylor
Phil Foden. The boy is class and will only get better under Pep’s guidance. Great news for England and Man City fans.
Ben Snowball
Dave Ryding. The 31-year-old is good enough to win GOLD in Pyeongchang (…providing Marcel Hirscher forgets to turn up).
Tom Adams
Jadon Sancho. One of the heroes of England’s remarkable year of success in youth football having helped them to the U17 World Cup, Sancho made a brave move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer. He’s had a couple of appearances off the bench, including against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, and his first-team exposure will only grow. He is a supremely talented player and will shine if given the chance.
Alex Chick
Elise Christie will definitely not finish last in SPOTY 2018.
Dan Quarrell
Alexander Zverev will win his first Grand Slam in 2018 – the US Open, to be more precise – and the German will be world number two by the time the year is out.
Kev Coulson
Jake Dixon – British Superbikes. The RAF Regular and Reserves Kawasaki rider will build on his good form this year and be in the mix until the final race of the season this time around.
Michael Hincks
Max Verstappen, though he'll need more luck than he had this year.
Pete Sharland
Sam Curran. England’s collapse in the Ashes has highlighted their bowling is underpar. Curran is left-handed, quick and can move the ball. He and his brother Tom should break into the senior team in 2018.
Demi D’Cunha
Jadon Sancho has the ability and took a huge step making a brave move to Germany at such a young age. If he gets first team football, he can become a big star in the Bundesliga. (I wanted to back a Wilshere comeback but unfortunately don’t think he counts as a breakout star.)
