Sweden defended the title they won a year ago, becoming just the third side to win two years in a row after Austria and Switzerland.
France, who finished fourth in the Winter Olympics, were excellent throughout but Sweden, in front of a home crowd, were just too strong.
Germany, who were runners-up to Sweden a year ago, finished just ahead of Austria to take third.
