Marcel Hirscher dominated the giant slalom at Altia Badia with a striking 2.5-second victory over his nearest competitor.
The Olympic champion, and world champion, was looking for a sixth-straight win at the evnt.
Hirscher had a big lead after the first leg, but he did not hold off.
At his first and second check point of his second run, he had added almost another two-tenths to his lead.
The 29-year-old finished his run 2.53 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor, claiming yet another win.
Thomas Fanara finished in second, with fellow Frenchman Alexis Pinturault rounding out the podium.
