Mikaela Shiffrin continued her dominant start to the Women's World Cup season with victory in the Super G in St Moritz on Saturday morning.
The two-time defending World Cup champion has now won four of the first eight races to open up a 293-point gap at the top of the overall standings.
On this evidence, a third straight overall title is hers for the taking this season and she was at her dominant best in Switzerland on Saturday.
The American's run of 1:11.30 minutes was 0.28 seconds better than Lara Gut-Behrami who had to settle for silver with Tina Weirather another 0.14 seconds back in third.
Shiffrin's nearest challenger in the overall standings is Switzerland's Michelle Gisin who finished fifth on the day, fourth was Ragnhild Mowinckel of Norway who sits third overall.
Sunday sees attentions switch to the slalom in St Moritz with Shiffrin a prohibitive favourite to make it five wins for the season already.
