Robinson was arrested on a marijuana possession charge in New Jersey last
December. Police said Robinson had marijuana-laced candy in his vehicle.
The case is still pending.
Robinson will be eligible to return to the Jets' active roster on Oct. 1, one
day after the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and in time for New
York's Week 5 matchup with Denver.
Robinson is eligible to play and practice in the preseason.
The 23-year-old played in six games for the Jets last season. The team
acquired him from the San Francisco 49ers in late October for a fifth-round
pick.
Robinson played in 22 games and started 13 times during his 1 1/2 seasons with
the 49ers. He had two interceptions and one forced fumble.
