The trio all triumphed in Belgrade last year in the Europeans – with Muir claiming 1500m and 3000m glory, Philip taking the 60m sprint crown and Pozzi topping the podium in the 60m hurdles.
Also gunning for glory for Great Britain will be Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth gold medallist Greg Rutherford, with the likes of 60m sprinter CJ Ujah, 400m sprinter Eilidh Doyle, Katarina Johnson-Thompson – who will be competing in the pentathlon – and 1500m runner Eilish McColgan all confirmed for the squad.
Other notable names include high jumpers Robbie Grabarz and Morgan Lake, British 800m champion Shelayna Oskan-Clarke and 1500m runner Jake Wightman.
The championships take place at Arena Birmingham from March 1 to 4.
Neil Black, British Athletics performance director, said: "This year is an amazing year for our athletes on the international stage and we are looking forward to seeing how they perform across 2018.
"We are delighted that the IAAF World Indoor Championships are being held in Birmingham, where we have just successfully hosted our British Championships, and we are certain it will be a great event for those selected – the home crowd will certainly play its part.
"The IAAF World Indoor Championships are the first major event of an exciting year with Commonwealth Games and European Championships also on the horizon and we have selected a British team with a good mixture of experienced international competitors and talented, up-and-coming athletes keen to test themselves against the best in the world."
