Report: NBA, NBPA one-and-done talks hit snag

NBA commissioner Adam Silver hopes to have an agreement in place with the players union that will allow graduating high school seniors to enter the league again by the 2022 draft, but talks with the players union have stalled over players' medical records, according to ESPN.

Silver reportedly wants to make sure that agents representing players coming
out of high school furnish medical records for their clients to all NBA teams

The league also wants players to take part in the pre-draft scouting combine.
Silver is negotiating with NBPA executive director Michele Roberts to modify

"We're investing millions of dollars into players who we'll now have even less
information about coming out of high school, and we should have the right to
have all the information available on who we are selecting," an unnamed

Agents are hoping Roberts holds strong, suggesting the access to medical
information is the only leverage the players have in the draft process.

success comes from a player getting into the right situation at the right
time. If I can do something that influences that, why would I give that up?"
