Hapoel surge past Berlin

Hapoel Jerusalem stormed to a 92-77 win away against Alba Berlin on the back of an explosive second half. Trailing 34-33 at the interval, the Israeli side drained 59 points in the third and fourth quarters as they seized control of the game.

Six players got into double figures, with the scoring led by American duo Timothy Bowers (23) and Mario Austin (18).

Austin also pulled down 11 rebounds, while Jurica Golemac dished out four assists.

Berlin's Sharrod Ford (18) and Christopher Owens (15) both had reasonable scoring nights, but they could not keep pace with their visitors.

Hapoel improve their record to 2-3, while Berlin's falls to the same mark. However, both sides are still very much in contention in an extremely tight Group C.
