Julian Eberhard secures first victory of season in Oberhof

Austria's Julian Eberhard secured his first win of the season at the IBU World Cup in Oberhof on Thursday, sealing victory in the men's 10km sprint.

Eberhard received a solitary penalty as he clocked a time of 26:57.5, ahead of Czech Republic's Michal Slesingr in second, finishing 10.5 seconds back with one missed target.
Italy's Dominik Windisch finished third, 40.4 seconds back, with one penalty.

Frenchman Martin Fourcade could not take his fourth sprint title in a row, missing three targets to finish in ninth place.
