Vanessa Hinz claimed her first-ever IBU World Cup title as she won the 12.5km mass start in Kontiolahti, Finland.
The German 25-year-old has never before made a podium but shot clear to finish 13.5 seconds clear of Italy's Lisa Vittozzi in second.
Anais Chevalier of France was a further 3.3 seconds back to complete the podium, with overall World Cup leader Kaisa Makarainen in fourth.
That keeps Makarainen top of the overall standings, while she has now moved level with Germany's Laura Dahlmeier in the mass start standings.
Dalhmeier finished in seventh, and so the mass start globe will all come down to the final World Cup event of the season in Tyumen.
Meanwhile Makarainen leads Anastasiya Kuzmina by 53 points in the overall standings with five events to go.
