Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich finished top of the overall World Cup standings in the four-man bobsleigh for the first time of his career after clinching gold in Calgary.
The 28-year-old topped the podium along with Martin Grothkopp, Candy Bauer and Margis Thorsten as they led the way in a German clean sweep on the 1988 Olympic track.
Friedrich and his team-mates enjoyed a 0.19 second advantage over Nico Walther's outfit in second, with the German joined by Paul Krenz, Alexander Roediger and Eric Franke.
Johannes Lochner, who was joined by Christian Rasp, Florian Bauer and Christopher Weber, completed the all-German podium after finishing 0.21 seconds behind the winners.
The victory meant Friedrich clinched the four-man season championship, adding that to his two-man title won earlier in the weekend, topping the standings with 1,727 points.
Latvia's Oskars Kibermanis, who placed fourth in Calgary with Matiss Miknis, Arvis Vilkaste and Strenga Janis, finished in second with 1,616 points while Lochner took third with 1,605.
