Schneider takes second World Cup victory of the season

European champion Stephanie Schneider took her second Bobsleigh World Cup victory of the season in Innsbruck, finishing in 1:46.06.
Her brakewoman Ann-Christin Strack won on her World Cup debut and only the third race of her professional bobsleigh career.
The German pair crossed the line 0.11 seconds clear of compatriot and Olympic champion Mariama Jamanka, with her partner Kira Lipperheide.
World champion and Olympic silver medallist Elana Meyers Taylor, from the USA, came in third alongside teammate Sylvia Hoffman – finishing 0.17 seconds behind, having taken a narrow lead after the first run.
Austrian pair Katrin Beierl and Jennifer Onasanya crossed the line in sixth in front of their home crowd.
Jamanka continues to lead the overall World Cup standings with 1,095 points ahead of Schneider (986) and Anna Koehler (936), who came fourth in Austria with partner Leonie Fiebig.
