Leon Haslam won his first race of the British Superbikes season in a thrilling display at Brands Hatch.
With the lead changing hands several times in the closing laps on an increasingly wet track, Haslam took the points, holding off Glenn Irwin and Michael Laverty.
After the race was restarted due to wet conditions with six laps gone of the initial attempt, Richard Cooper and Haslam swapped the lead in the opening laps, with Bradley Ray slipping back through the field after starting on pole.
Laverty, Irwin and Haslam all took turns at the front before the JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider clung on after slipping past his BeWiser Ducati rival with half a lap remaining.
It means Haslam is 14 points behind championship leader Bradley Ray, with Shakey Byrne - winner of Race 1 earlier in the day on the Indy track - four points ahead of him in second.
