Glenn Irwin took pole position at Thruxton in Round 7 of the British Superbikes Championship on an afternoon of top times.
The BeWiser Ducati rider took top spot with a lap of 1min 31.123secs and will be joined on the front row by his brother and team-mate, Andrew, who is in third spot, and Luke Mossey (JG Speedfit Kawasaki).
Josh Brookes, who took a double win at Brands Hatch in the last round, will start fourth.
With just two more rounds to go after this until the Showdown rounds, points and podium credits are incredibly important.
The top six riders go head to head at Oulton Park, Assen and Brands Hatch, with the riders each starting on 500 points plus those accrued for each podium place they achieved in the regular season: five for a win, three for a second, and one for a third.
Race 1 at Thruxton is at 13.30 on Sunday, with Race 2 at 16.30.
