The 2015 BSB champion held off Peter Hickman – who was only discharged from hospital an hour and a half before the first race – to collect maximum points and celebrate his eighth win at the circuit.
Jake Dixon made it successive podiums by taking third, with championship leader Leon Haslam in fourth.
With just two more rounds to go until the Showdown rounds, points and podium credits are incredibly important.
The top six riders go head-to-head at Oulton Park, Assen and Brands Hatch, with the riders each starting on 500 points plus those accrued for each podium place they achieved in the regular season: five for a win, three for a second, and one for a third.
Haslam (280 points), Dixon (198), Brookes (168), Glenn Irwin (163), Bradley Ray (119) and Danny Buchan (111) are currently heading through.

Race 1

Leon Haslam won an incident-packed Race 1 at Thruxton.
With crashes shedding the pack of riders, Haslam, who has announced he is moving to World Superbikes next season, picked up his seventh race win of the season on the Kawasaki.
Jake Dixon, in the Gearlink Kawasaki team, was leading for much of the final lap but Haslam took the lead with a handful of corners remaining to extend his lead in the standings.
The win for Haslam is his first ever win at the Hampshire course during his BSB career.
Peter Hickman, who went to hospital after falling ill before the race, was able to recover to finish in third place for Smiths Racing BMW.
Hickman benefitted when Jason O'Halloran and Josh Brookes tangled on the Club chicane on the last lap, and they went over the kerb.
