Leon Haslam doubles up at Oulton Park to assume championship lead

Leon Haslam picked up his second and third wins of the year at Oulton Park to usurp previous championship leader Bradley Ray at the top of the standings.

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider, who crashed out at 120 mph at the same track last year, picked off Jake Dixon in race one to take the win from the RAF regular & reserve Kawasaki rider.

Haslam eases to Race 1 win at sweltering Oulton Park

Six-time champion Shakey Byrne and rising star Ray, on his Buildbase Suzuki, finished third and fourth respectively.
Haslam then shone in race two as he doubled up at the venue in style.

He won in a time of 28:40.954 to clinch victory from Jason O'Halloran with Dixon in third and Byrne in fourth.
