Straight through to the semi-finals were Sweden and Scotland, who finished the round robin stage with 11 wins and just one loss apiece in 20 sessions.
And after today's last qualification matches, joining them are Canada and Korea, who finished in third and fourth place respectively.
Canada finished the round robin stage with nine wins out of 12 matches, and, led by skip Brad Gushue, overcame sixth-placed USA 6-4 to secure their place in a match that went all the way to the 10th end and eliminated the Olympic champions.
And Korea, skipped by ChangMin Kim, won 7-5 against Norway to reach the semi-final, but had to fight tooth and nail as the latter levelled to three points in the fourth end.
Korea's resurgence began in the sixth end and continued as they scored two points in the eighth end and one in the tenth to complete their progression.
The first semi-final will see Sweden and Korea go head-to-head in the first session of the day, before Canada face Scotland later in the evening.
