Returning Scottish skip Sophie Jackson revelled in an "amazing" extra-end victory over reigning champions Canada at the LGT Women's World Curling Championships.
Jackson's rink, on debut at the global gathering, are firmly in contention for a play-off place after a last-gasp win over one of the tournament favourites.
Jackson and team-mates Sophie Sinclair, Mili Smith and Naomi Brown forced the Canadians into an 11th end and cleared Chelsea Carey's stone to seal dramatic victory.
"It feels amazing,” Jackson said. "It's always good to beat Canada, especially at a World Championships.
"We struggled just when we lost a two at the second end, so it was good to keep fighting and just keep communicating well, and really push through. It took us 11 ends but we got there."
After losing their first two matches, Scotland have recovered to win their last four and are well-placed heading into the second half of the round robin stage.
Jackson's recovery from a back injury to lead her team was a crucial factor in their ability to deliver when it mattered.
The skip feels her team are in fine fettle, with winless Denmark and Switzerland in store tomorrow.
"We're in a really good place,” Jackson said.
"We've got a few tough games coming up, so we'll just take them game-by-game and see what we can do but we're feeling confident and having a really good time."
