Sweden beat the United States 6-4 on Monday while Canada followed up their 8-1 six-end win over Germany with a much closer 9-5 win over China.
Olympic silver medallists Korea are the only other unbeaten team, helped by their 7-5 victory over Denmark in the fifth session, but they sit third having played a game less.
Russia suffered their first defeat of the Championships when they lost 6-5 to Italy in the sixth session to slip to fourth place overall.
Successive wins for the Czech Republic, against China and Scotland, put them in joint sixth along with Italy.
China, Denmark and Switzerland sit in joint ninth on one win and three losses while Germany and Scotland are 12th with both still to record their first wins.
Canada skip Dawn McEwan said: "We didn't quite get our rocks in the right spots at the start of the game and we were chasing it.
"They played very well, I think they only missed one shot in that first half. So, we put some pressure on them and got some draws in good spots and then that steal of three happened, so we just stayed patient and it worked out for us."
