Cycling news - La Course dates altered to match Tour de France Pau stage

La Course, the most prominent women's French Cycling tour, will move from 23 July 2019 to 19 July 2019 in order to match with the Tour de France stage being held in Pau on the 19 July.

The course used for the women will use the same course as the stage 13 individual time trial to be used by the men's equivalent race.

"Yes, La Course by Le Tour will take place on July 19th in Pau.

"It's a classic race (mass-start) not an ITT, and the riders will complete [the circuit] five times."

There is no overlap between the Giro Rosa, held between 5 July and 14 July, but the alteration does mean it will clash with the 18-21 July BeNe Ladies Tour in Belgium.
