Glen Durrant begins against Mark McGrath / Adam Smith-Neale, Lisa Ashton takes on Mikuru Suzuki

Glen Durrant will begin the defence of his BDO World Professional Darts Championships title against Mark McGrath or Adam Smith-Neale at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey.

Englishman Durrant, who narrowly beat compatriot Mark McGeeney in last year's showpiece final, begins his quest to three-peat with a tie against 50-year-old McGrath or Smith-Neale, who beat him in the World Masters final in October.
McGeeney, the top seed, starts his title challenge against play-off qualifier and 2017 Belgian Open winner Derk Telnekes.
After winning a thrilling final in 2018 against Anastasia Dobromyslova four-time winner Lisa Ashton returns to begin her quest for three in a row with a first-round match against Mikuru Suzuki.
Elsewhere, number one seed Lorraine Winstanley, a quarter-finalist in 2018, starts against Casey Gallagher.
