Big ERC year awaits Herczig

Norbert Herczig is set for one of his biggest seasons yet after arriving on São Miguel earlier today to begin his final preparations for the Azores Rallye.
Not only will the MOL Racing Team driver switch to the all-new Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 in 2019, his FIA European Rally Championship campaign will draw to a close on home soil when Rally Hungary takes its bow.
“We are very excited,” said Herczig, a double podium finisher during his maiden ERC campaign in 2018. “We have the possibility to drive again immediately before the race [on Monday] and I am really happy that Hungary will organise one race from the ERC.”
