Botka’s capital gain in the ERC

Dávid Botka bagged his second stage win in this season’s FIA European Rally Championship with the fastest time of all in the Cypriot capital this morning.

The former ERC2 champion, in a Sysinfo Rally Team ŠKODA Fabia R5, was quickest through the 2.67-kilometre Nicosia SSS, 0.8s ahead of leading local driver Simos Galatariotis.

Botka won the first stage of the 2018 ERC season on the Azores Airlines Rallye in March.
