ERC driver Neubauer a winner at home

Hermann Neubauer used the break in his FIA European Rally Championship schedule to win the Murauer Rallysprint in his native Austria yesterday.

Co-driven by Gerald Winter for the occasion, Neubauer was using the event to gain more experience of the Ford Fiesta R5 he’s campaigning in the ERC this season.

The event consisted of two different special stages run mainly on gravel and repeated twice. While the morning stages took place in sunny conditions, the afternoon tests were held in the wet with heavy rain notable on the closing stage.
