Two hugely promising youngsters will prove their talent – and utilise the experience they gained challenging for FIA ERC Junior title success in 2018 – when they step up to the world stage this season.
Tom Kristensson and Mārtiņš Sesks have entered the world championship’s junior category for Ford Fiesta R2s on Pirelli tyres, which begins on Rally Sweden next month and features five events.
Sesks, 19, beat his then ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team team-mate Kristensson, 27, to the ERC Junior title in 2018 with both drivers claiming two wins from six starts. Sesks will take up his prize drive of two ERC events in a Motorsport Italia ŠKODA Fabia R5 alongside his world campaign with Rally Islas Canarias and Rally di Roma Capitale confirmed on his schedule.
ERC Junior Experience graduate Roland Poom is also on the list of 13 registered drivers.
