Emma Falcón battled brake problems to finish the Cyprus Rally and maintain her lead in the ERC Ladies’ Trophy classification.
While the Citroën DS3 R3T-driving Spaniard’s mechanical issues caused several woes, other highs included the fastest time of all in the ERC3 division through the Nicosia superspecial on Sunday morning, plus a move into third overall in the ERC3 standings after four FIA European Rally Championship events.

Catie Munnings, in a Saintéloc Junior Team PEUGEOT 208 R2, was also in action in Cyprus, her efforts hampered by a 15-minute time penalty handed out for a stage-start issue on Saturday afternoon. The Briton could gain some satisfaction for her capture of nine stage wins in class alongside new co-driver Alba Sánchez.
