Emma Falcón has recruited Edu González to co-drive her in 2018 when the Canary Islander is set to continue her FIA European Rally Championship adventure.
Falcón challenged for the ERC Ladies’ Trophy in 2017 with appearances on her home event, Rally Islas Canarias, plus Rally Rzeszow, Barum Czech Rally Zlín and Rally di Roma Capitale, but ultimately lost out on the crown to Tamara Molinaro from Italy.
The 27-year-old Falcón is set to compete in a Citroën DS3 R3 and hopes to start her campaign on the Azores Airlines Rallye from 22-24 March. She said: “The coming season has new things ahead but I’m very excited. I want a lot to be in the Azores for my first time.”
Rally Rzeszow, Barum Czech Rally Zlín and Rally di Roma Capitale marked Falcón’s first appearances away from Spanish soil.
