Efrén Llarena will be feeling good when he continues his FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship bid on Barum Czech Rally Zlín this week.
The RFEDA-backed Rally Team Spain talent heads to Czech Republic following a class-winning performance on a regional rally in his homeland with regular co-driver Sara Fernández.

While this will be Llarena’s Barum Czech Rally Zlín debut, the PEUGEOT 208 R2 driver has be building his understanding of the event’s challenging nature.

“My feeling ahead of Barum Czech Rally Zlín is good,” he said. “We did a regional rally [recently] to get ready and we found a good rhythm. We know that the Barum Rally is one of the most difficult Tarmac rallies in Europe. It’s bumpy with a lot of corners and crests, so we know we will be in for a challenge. We really hope we can be on the podium and get a lot of points for the championship.”
